AirconMech is delighted to sponsor local boxer Ryan Cullen in his bid for gold with the Leinster Development Squad in Kalingrad, Russia this week. 16-year-old Ryan, a member of the Ballagh Boxing Club, has been boxing for 5 years now and already has a number of titles under his belt.
The 63kg youth trains 3 days a week with his local club and every Saturday in Athy with the Leinster Development Squad. His cruelling training schedule has paid off with a long list of wins to his credit, including; 5 times County Champion, 3 times Leinster Champion, 2 times Leinster runner-up, runner up in the All Ireland Final, 2 times All Ireland semi-finalist and gold medalist in an International match where he beat his Welsh opponent.
In 2018 Ryan travelled twice to Lithuania, bringing home a silver medal on his second trip.
